My New and Exciting Coaching Career...

 

 

Hi all,

 

It's great to be back writing again, and I'd like to fill you in with what has being happening with me since my last blog. Firstly, I am now studying in Marino Institute of Education for a Diploma in Executive and Life Coaching.  I am already just a little over a month into this course, and it's great...I'm really enjoying it. Why Coaching? Well, the work I had been doing with my drumming workshops was infact sometimes very close to Coaching, but not quite. I suppose my workshops were more Recreational than Developmental. However, I always wanted my workshops to be more helpful to people in terms of Personal Development, because that is what I enjoying doing more than anything...helping people. Nothing gives me more pleasure than knowing that I was a help to someone talking the next step towards their goal, or empowering someone to be a better version of themselves. So, I gave this a lot of thought and discovered what I really wanted to do is coaching...helping people in their personal and professional lives.,

I have many years experience of facilitating drumming workshops for Recreation, Therapy, Creativity and so on, and have a Certificate in Therapeutic Drumming, and I am a trained HealthRhythms facilitator,
but that was not enough. I always felt there was more, something else missing, and that was it...Coaching. That is why I am now a student on this great course. The course will be finished in September when I will be a fully Professional Qualified Executive and Life Coach.

What I intend to do then is to bring all my skills together...the drumming and the Life Coaching, and create a very strong and powerful service for individuals and groups who wish to transform their lives and achieve their personal and professional goals. You see, I believe it is very important to get yourself into the right "rhythm" to tackle anything...including a goal. I use the drumming to align the client internally and externally. I also use the Drumming/Rhythm to relax and de-stress the client. All this sets the client/s up for the important Coaching Process, and also Empowers and Energizes them.

How all this works in practical terms I will explain in future blogs so that you can gain an understanding of how it all comes together. It's an exciting, empowering and fun way to change your life and transform your world, and start to create the life you want. If you are one of those people who believe you are only living life in second gear, and that you have much unused talent...in any area of life...perhaps this might be something you might be interested in doing. I will be running some "Open" workshops in a few weeks and they will be designed to introduce clients to how the Coaching courses will work. Keep an eye out for information about them.
